2018 VW Tiguan Hybrid: Rumor or Reality?

Following introduction of the bulky Atlas model for the shoppers in the US, Volkswagen continues the three-row of seat trend with this market with the new-generation Volkswagen Tiguan. This model debuted at the last Detroit show significantly bigger than confident variation and with brand’s new styling. Germans included more computer and safety characteristics and more complexity to this model with the new lightweight platform.  The next stage could be the 2018 VW Tiguan Hybrid variation but we however don’t have the official proof for that.

VW presented the new-gen three-row Tiguan with the one engine option for the US market. The engine is updated version of brand’s familiar TSI engine which powers the current variation and may also be found in the Euro-spec version as well. Nevertheless, the standard wheelbase version for the European market is available with the total of eight engines including the TSI and TDI units. VW hasn’t claimed would the standard wheelbase version be distributed in the US alongside with the three-row model. It hasn’t also stated on the rumors about the Hybrid powertrain. Based on our places, the Tiguan Hybrid is being considered and it might arrive as the 2018 model but more likely for the 2019 version.
